Jason Van de Loo is a transformational growth leader with over 20 years of experience as a senior executive in wealth management and technology-enabled services.
Jason has a proven track record of developing innovative client experiences, driving growth, and building high-performing teams. He most recently served as EVP, Head of Wealth Management and Chief Marketing Officer at Edelman Financial Engines. Under his leadership, his team built a differentiated, multi-channel organic growth platform, a stronger client value proposition, a nationwide advisor team, and strategic M&A integrations. The firm grew to more than $250 billion in AUM and was recognized by Barron’s as the #1 independent RIA for seven consecutive years.
His growth leadership extends beyond wealth management, having served as the Head of Marketing for Capella University, a publicly traded online education platform, and as a founding CMO at Everspring, a technology-enabled education services provider.
An active industry leader, Jason has served on the Advisory Board for Schwab Advisor Services and worked closely to advance the work of the Foundation for Financial Planning. Outside the industry, Jason has served on the Board of Directors of CaringBridge, a global non-profit that creates private social networks to help people navigate health journeys, and TreeHouse, an organization transforming the lives of at-risk teens.
Jason holds both an MBA and BS in Business, both with high distinction, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife now call Charlotte home. They enjoy summers on Cape Cod and traveling to visit their two daughters in New York and Nashville.
