Joanna combines nearly 25 years of experience with her ability to see each client as a “whole person” with dreams, fears, goals, and an individual story.
Joanna brings a different perspective to her clients. She has experience in various roles within the financial sector including working with individual investors and trading on an institutional trading desk.
She started her financial services career in San Francisco after graduating from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1994. In her 25 years as an advisor, Joanna has had success by using a simple skill: listening. She invests time to understand each client’s story, allowing her to discover a way to meet their goals and find joy and meaning in the process.
She loves spending time with her husband, two sons, extended family, and friends. She also enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, and cooking. Joanna is an active volunteer in local schools and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (she was a board member in 2011 and 2012). She serves as the inaugural chair of the Annual Giving Campaign and is a regular participant and fundraiser for the organization’s Xtreme hike.
