Josh Laychock is a seasoned financial professional with more than 24 years of experience specializing in retirement plan consulting and comprehensive wealth and risk management strategies.

Prior to joining Choreo, Josh owned and served as Principal of Northeast Financial Group, an independent registered investment advisory (RIA) firm in Northeast Pennsylvania. In 2022, he also founded Herbein Financial Group LLC, an RIA. In these roles, he specialized in advising organizations on fiduciary responsibilities for qualified retirement plans and worked closely with plan sponsors and committees to strengthen governance, oversight, and outcomes. In collaboration with strategic partners, Josh helped implement an open architecture platform designed to support plan providers of all sizes, offering scalable and flexible solutions aligned with fiduciary standards.

In his leadership role, Josh works closely with business owners, executives, and institutions to deliver integrated strategies across retirement plans, executive benefits, and long-term wealth and risk management. His experience spans defined contribution plan analysis and implementation, fiduciary consulting, 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans, executive compensation and benefits, and institutional and high-net-worth advisory services. He has also served on an investment committee, contributing to disciplined investment oversight and decision-making.
