A wealth planner with more than 20 years of experience, Michelle takes a behavioral finance approach in working with clients to understand their goals, create a plan around lifestyle milestones, tie that plan to financial goals, and advise on an investment strategy for financial success. She creates a safe space for her clients to talk through their goals and concerns openly and honestly.
As part of her practice, Michelle founded a specialty financial planning group, Women of Widowhood (WOW), after her personal experience of assisting her mother when her father passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65. She develops programming and resources that are helpful to women transitioning into widowhood, including information on cybersecurity, home repair and women-focused travel.
Michelle’s passion for helping people has led to becoming involved in many community boards with a focus on women and children, including helping the Boys and Girls Club raise money to start a mental health access program. She is a past-president of the Rotary Club of Duluth and part of Choreo’s STAR employee network group to support women in the firm.
Outside of work, Michelle loves to travel and enjoys spending time with family at the cabin.
