Oana Ebens

Oana is an advocate for the plan sponsors and acts as a liaison between them and their plan service providers.
Oana has been in the retirement plan administration field since 2002. In her current role with Choreo, Oana’s responsibilities include assisting employers administer their retirement plans and ensuring they meet their fiduciary responsibilities while doing so.
Oana started her career with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP as an audit associate. She subsequently transferred to McGladrey Retirement Resources (later Versight) as a retirement plan conversion specialist. In this capacity, Oana on-boarded new clients on the record-keeping platform and was responsible in coordinating the asset movement between custodians and facilitating the complete and accurate transfer of census and participant account information. She ensured the record-keeping system was properly set up to reflect the plan document elections, and was deeply involved in the conversion strategy, execution and handoff to ongoing administration team.
Oana also worked directly as a relationship manager for a book of 20 clients. Her responsibilities revolved around the daily client service regarding payroll transactions, distribution processing, fund changes, quarterly reporting and document compliance.
